My Mountain Warehouse Packing Cubes. Trying Them Out.

Updated March 25, 2022

Hi All. Today my Mountain Warehouse packing cubes (travel organizer) came in, and I'm going to give them a try this summer while on my walks. The cubes came in a pack of three, and they were about CAD 14.99 plus shipping from Mountain Warehouse's website. They are a dark gray material with a rugged mesh-style top rectangular in shape. Let's see how they go. If you would like to check out the videos and photos, scroll down to the updates section.

Mountain Warehouse Packing Cubes - Sizes

There are three packing cubes, and there are two sizes, two large and one medium; the two large sizes are 40 cm by 25 cm, and the medium size is 25 cm by 20 cm.

2 - 25 cm x 40 cm
1 - 25 cm x 20 cm

After checking out this product a little bit further, I would put this in the middle for quality. I wouldn't say it's a high-end packing cube, but I would not say it's an inexpensive or cheaper packing cube.

The overall style is very nice and classy, and it has the Mountain Warehouse tag just in one of the corners; the only concern I would have is the breathable mesh area. It looks to be a little thin, and I'm just curious if that's going to last in the long term. If something pokes through, will it cut through the mesh? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I would put the zipper lining and stitch in the average category.

Pros - Mountain Warehouse Packing Cubes

  • Nice Material - The Mountain Warehouse packing cubes have a nice synthetic material, and it looks pleasing to the eye.
  • Zippers - The zippers are large and they have stayed intact. The zippers have not broken over time in my walking bag
  • Ventilation - The mesh ventilates all the walking gear inside.

Cons - Mountain Warehouse Packing Cubes

  • The Mesh - The mash hasn't torn which is a good thing, but I'm not confident the mesh will stay intact over the long term. Of course, it's my opinion.
  • Stitching - I'm not sure what's happening here. The stitching on the outer area is getting stringy. (Shoulder shrug). Nothing has happened though.
