Bob & Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun.

Hi all, Ryan here, greetings from Canada. Well, It's been about two months since I purchased the Bob & Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun. I got it off Amazon Canada for about 160 bucks Canadian at that time. Overall, the shipping from Amazon Canada was smooth, I had Prime, so it didn't take too long to get to my house. I took a bunch of photos of the Bob & Brad c2 Mini Massage Gun, if you want a closer look, scroll down towards the bottom of the page. I also made a video with my first impressions, scroll down to the Youtube video. I also made a quick Pros and Cons with some common questions, again, scroll down to take a look.

Why Did I Get the Bob & Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun in the First Place?

I'm a passionate slow walker, and I like to walk every day if I can. Over time, my calf muscles started to tighten up. The reason was that I ruptured both my Achilles tendons, between 2010 and 2017 playing sports. If you'd like the long version you can go to my about me section and read away,

Forwarding to the present. I was originally walking about three to four times a week, with some breaks, but I decided to increase my frequency to seven days a week and adjust the pace.

The vibrating foam roller I got does a good job. But when it came to isolating into those really tough knots in my calves, the vibrating foam roller was not cutting it.

So, I decided to get the Bob and Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun to isolate into the muscles.

Now, another reason why I went with the Bob & Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun, was that I was familiar with them from their YouTube channel. Bob and Brad give quite a bit of good content as physiotherapists based somewhere in the United States. (No affiliation).

Pros - Bob & Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun Review

  • Round Ball Head is Great - I have gravitated to the round ball head as my main attachment. I have all the other attachments, but the round ball head works the best for my needs.
  • Good Battery So Far - The battery is holding a decent amount of time, unfortunately, I didn't time the actual life-cycle of the battery. I can get through massaging both my calf muscles with a good amount of massage. Charging the battery after it died took a few hours, give or take.
  • Good Structural Integrity - It still feels good quality after a few months, I did notice the rubber grip was getting some wear and tear, but no big deal, nothing has broke or pulled apart.

Cons - Bob & Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun Review

  • Getting a Bit Noisy - Yup, it's starting to get loud, more specifically, a louder buzzing sound when I increase the gear speed. Quick note, there are five speeds, when I set the speed to four, I notice the louder buzzing.
  • Type C Connection Issues - Ok, I tried charging the Bob & Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun with my own Type C connector, and for some reason, my Type C connector didn't work. I switched the Type C connector, and it worked fine (shoulder shrug). I do talk about the Type C connection issue further, scroll down to the January 12th update.
  • Limited Use - I found getting to massaging my back with the C2 doesn't really work out. I can do it, but I got to twist my arm in an awkward motion towards my back. Not the greatest experience.

Are Bob and Brad Massage Guns Good?

In my experience, after a few months, I would say yes. I use the Bob & Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun almost every day, and it's been a good experience overall.

Would I Buy the Bob & Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun Again?

If I had to go back in time and look at massage guns all over again, I would still get the Bob & Brad C2 Mini Massage Gun. It's a great size for my needs and built well.

My USB-C connector didn't work (No big deal)
Well, I've used the Bob and Brad massage gun for a couple days now. From my experience, there is quite a bit of power, even at the lower gear settings (1 and 2). I did have an issue with my own USB-C connector, It didn't charge the device for some reason (shoulder shrug). I then used the USB cord included with the device, and everything worked fine. I'm hoping my USB-C is just faulty.

Charging time
I gave it one good charge as soon as I received the device. It only took a few hours to charge up. (Give or take).

How loud is the Bob & Brad C2 Massage Gun?
Now, I don't have a decibel reader, but I was using the device while watching TV at a "reasonable level." It's not super quiet, but not annoyingly loud.
